President’s Welcome:

Welcome to the official website of the Gastonia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. We’re delighted that you’ve taken the time to explore more about our chapter and the impactful initiatives we undertake in the picturesque Gaston County.

Chartered on February 13, 1954, we are excited to mark our 70th year. The City of Gastonia has honored us with a Proclamation, recognizing our seven decades of service to the community. And this year, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated celebrated 111 years of Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service and Social Action.

Being a consistent and recognizable force is both our pleasure and honor. Throughout the years, GAC has prioritized the health and well-being of our community, with a focus on voter registration, youth development, and addressing unmet needs in the county. Whether it’s our annual College Day Fair, biennual Jabberwock, Coats for Kids, or the collaborative Trunk or Treat and Turkey Drive with our Divine 9 brothers and sisters, the Deltas are actively engaged! Spot us in our distinctive crimson and cream attire, and consider joining us – we would love to have you serve alongside us and experience The Power of One Soror, One Chapter, One Sisterhood!
